He recognizes and rewards impactful contributors, effectively mentors his teams, and instills an unparalleled competitive drive to achieve organizational success. As CEO, Mike collaborates with senior leadership to identify opportunities to serve the disability insurance marketplace as well as in seeking disruptive, value-add solutions along the absence continuum.
President, Advisory Services
Michael is a 30+ year veteran of the group life and disability insurance industry. Michael has experience overseeing claims operations for insurance solutions organizations, ensuring a fully integrated experience for customers, and managing the adjudication of claims across all lines of business, including absence, group disability, waiver of premium, and life.
Chief of Staff
Shawn brings over 20 years of experience in leadership, sales, marketing, and operations. Shawn spent several years in the hospitality industry after returning from the United States Air Force, where he performed security and law enforcement duties in the Desert Shield/Desert Storm operations. As Chief of Staff, Shawn is responsible for organizing and prioritizing critical initiatives, strategic plans, priorities, and policies.
SVP, Account Management & Aevo Insurance Services
Gina brings over 20 years of experience in relationship management, leadership, and developing innovative growth strategies, including 15 years spent developing a deep understanding of the employee benefits industry. Gina is known for developing high-performance teams, building strong relationships, and bringing people together to achieve results.
SVP, Business Development and Marketing
Courtney brings 20 years of experience leading marketing, sales, and business development functions within rapidly growing companies. Her senior management experience includes leading organizations through periods of ambitious change to measurable success. Courtney is known for her superior communication and pipeline management skills, for approaching challenges quantitatively and creatively, and for leading cross-functional initiatives.
SVP, Operations and Performance
Sean brings over 15 years of experience in account management, leadership and quantifying value delivered to corporate customers. Sean oversees SSDI advocacy operations and manages company-wide analytics, turning data into information that drives the business forward. Sean is known for his ability to build strong teams that push for results and execution.
VP, Client Services
George has extensive insurance experience, specifically in the employee benefits space with a focus on group/voluntary benefits and absence management. In his 30 years in the industry, he’s had the opportunity to lead claim, contact center, and account management operations for several large disability carriers.
VP, Clinical and Vocational Services
Sarah has nearly 30 years of experience in maximizing risk management resource utilization, specifically medical expertise. In addition to direct care nursing experience, she has provided strategic direction and implementation expertise for disability, workers’ compensation, health, and absence programs.
VP, Account Management Operations
Megan works closely with corporate customers to deliver industry-leading services and provide them with critical benchmarking data and guidance as to how to optimize the results of their SSDI programs. Megan is known for developing customized solutions to meet unique customer needs and building strong, lasting partnerships.
VP, Human Resources
Holli has expertise in all aspects of HR, with depth of experience in HR operations, employee relations, training and development, recruiting, and technology systems that power highly effective HR functions. Holli is instrumental in both engaging current teammates for retention and professional growth, as well as in attracting tremendous new talent to the team.
Mark Sawyer, CLU
VP, Claim Performance Solutions
Mark leads the Brown & Brown Absence Service Group Consulting operation. With over 30 years of industry expertise, Mark delivers disability claim operational insights, process solutions, and claim management expertise by identifying both strategic and tactical improvement opportunities and making specific, actionable recommendations consistent with industry best practices.
VP, Finance and Operations
Stacy brings over 20 years of progressive accounting experience with emphasis on corporate accounting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting. She has extensive knowledge in building the foundations of accounting operations in smaller, rapidly growing organizations.
Director, Administrative Services & Second Injury Fund Recovery
Melissa has served in a number of capacities prior to and alongside her current role. As the Director of Administrative Services and Second Injury Fund Recovery, Melissa leads our facilities management function as well as a large team of administrative and client services teammates.
